Gapping describes a period that an otherwise reserved Space is temporarily ‘unreserved’ during the reservation. This is most commonly used in long-term or permanent reservations (that typically correspond to Assigned Spaces) where the user wishes to make their Space available for some period whilst they do not require it – for example during a vacation or whilst traveling.
